Description
Brewer Cote® Inductive Cold Pour Loop Sealant is a single-component pourable, sand, and acrylic-modified asphalt emulsion designed for sealing inductive wire loop slots in both asphalt and Portland cement concrete. It provides flexibility in varying climates and forms a waterproof barrier.
Surface Preparation
Pavement slots must be free of dust, dirt, and water prior to application. Use compressed air before applying the sealant. The slot may be slightly damp to help the penetration of the sealant.
Mixing Procedures
Leave the pail upside down prior to use. Mix well with a mechanical mixer to ensure the product is uniform and sand is disposed. Excess material should be removed immediately using a V-Squeegee to force the material into the loop and avoid excess waste.
Application
Ready to use. B.C. Loop Sealant can be applied by pressure feed, pump, directly from the container, or by pour pot. Do not apply on rainy days or when the temperature is expected to drop below 45°F during the next 24 hours. Tack free in one hour under normal conditions (77°F at 50% humidity). If traffic is unavoidable, broadcast fine dry sand over the surface. Drying time will vary depending on surface temperatures. Test for traffic ability before opening.
Important
Weather Limitations:
