Description
Resurfacer RRM is a high-performance seal coat crafted from a blend of clay stabilized asphalt, recycled rubber modifiers, acrylic, and select fillers. It provides long-lasting protection to various asphalt surfaces by resisting water, oil, and ultraviolet light. With its tough and durable formula, Resurfacer RRM fills voids, low spots, and replaces fines lost during the aging process, ensuring the integrity and longevity of the pavement.
Surface Preparation
Clean all oil and grease from the asphalt surface using a stiff broom or mechanical broom and degreasing solution. Rinse with clean water following degreasing. Treat all spots with Oil Spot Primer. Remove all loose or raveled particles, dirt and dust, and any other foreign materials prior to seal coat application.
Mixing Procedures
Non-sand-filled sealer is designed for computer-controlled spreader trucks. Squeegee or use mechanical spray equipment with agitation and water fogging capabilities for sand-filled sealer. Product may be diluted a maximum of 25%. Fine graded aggregate may be added up to 4 lbs. per gal of concentrate.
Application
Apply on clean, dry surfaces. Avoid application if rain is expected in the next 8 hrs and/or the temperature is below 50°F for the next 24 hrs. New asphalt should not be sealed until after exposed to a full summer heat cycle. Apply one or two coats as needed, ensuring the first coat is allowed to dry prior to the application of the second coat. The second coat should be applied in a cross direction to the first coat when possible.
Important
Resurfacer RRM shall not be applied if rain is expected in the next 8 hrs, and/or the temperature is below 50°F for the next 24 hrs. New asphalt should not be sealed until after exposed to a full summer heat cycle.
