Description
Resurfacer II is a specially formulated asphalt resurfacer designed to enhance and protect asphalt surfaces. Its tough, durable formula fills pavement voids and low spots, providing long-lasting protection against moisture, UV rays, and oxidation. Ideal for both old and new parking lots, recreational areas, and driveways, Resurfacer II stops raveling, fills minor cracks and depressions, and creates a smooth, flexible surface that is easy to clean.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the area is clean and free from all loose material and dirt before application.
Mixing Procedures
Squeegee or use mechanical equipment to apply the product onto the surface. Resurfacer II may be diluted with a maximum of 20% water. Priming may be necessary on aged surfaces using one-part SS-1H and four-parts water, applied at 1 gal per 100 sq/ft. Do not over-dilute Resurfacer II.
Application
Apply on clean, dry surfaces. Avoid application on rainy days or when the temperature is expected to drop below 50°F within the next 24 hours. Ensure ambient and surface temperature is at least 55°F and rising during application. Do not apply if rain is forecasted within the next 24 hours. Drying time is a maximum of 8 hours at 70°F and 50% relative humidity.
Important
Weather Limitations:
For best results, do not apply on rainy days or when the temperature is expected to drop below 50°F during the next 24 hours. On hot days, pre-dampen the pavement with a fog system. New asphalt should not be sealed until after exposed to a full summer heat cycle. Ambient and surface temperature must be at least 55°F and rising during application. Do not apply if rain is in the forecast for the next 24 hrs.
